Becoming a GMCTA Member
Working with the Appalachian Studies Center at
North Georgia and the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Georgia
Mountain Cultural Tourism Alliance (GMCTA) is a group of organizations seeking to share
information and to increase the visibility of each partner site.
The Georgia Mountain Cultural Tourism Alliance mission focuses on educating and promoting the culture and heritage of the area’s people and places.
To join, your organization must be in an ARC designated Appalachian Georgia county, have regular hours, be a 501 (C) 3, and aim to educate your visitors on the state’s history and culture. Members must be approved by the Steering Committee.
